FIFD Recruitment Open House

You are invited to attend the Fishers Island Fire Department’s Open House, Saturday, October 5 from 10 am to 12 pm at the FIFD Firehouse.
Department members will give tours of the firehouse, demonstrate the new equipment, explain everything they do on the island, and answer any questions about joining the department as a firefighter, EMT, or Sea Stretcher crew member.
FIFD members, bring your interested friends down and help show them around.
Training classes for EMTs begin in November, and the Firefighters classes begin in January. The department welcomes new recruits year-round.
